Ingredients
For burger patty:
1 cup Green peas boiled and mashed
1 cup cottage cheese, grated
1 Potato boiled and mashed
2 Green chilies chopped finely
¼ cup coriander leaves chopped
¼ cup Breadcrumbs
Salt to taste
¼ teaspoon Black pepper powder
3-4 tablespoons Oil
Other ing :
4 Burger buns
½ cup mayonnaise
Tomato Ketchup as needed
Few lettuce leaves
Few Onion rings
Few slices Tomatoes
Method :
First boil the potato, once cool to touch peel the skin and discard. Mash that. Also boil the green peas in pressure cooker or in microwave. Or you can steam them. Once cooked, roughly crush in food processor or just mash with potato mashe r.To that add mashed potato and paneer. Also add chopped green chilies and coriander leaves along with salt and pepper. Also add breadcrumbs. Mix it using hand and it will come together like a dough. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portion. Now start shaping them into patty.
Heat the pan on medium heat. Once hot drizzle couple of teaspoons of oil. Place the patty on the pan and fry. Once it gets light golden brown in color from the bottom side, flip it and cook other side as well. Similarly fry rest of the patties. Assemble the burger: apply mayonnaise on inside of the bottom bun. Place a lettuce leaf and one patty on top. Followed by onion and tomato. Close the burger with top bun slice and serve.
